He telepathically appeared to Julian Albert in the form of his deceased sister Emma and told him of the Philosopher's Stone, claiming it could bring "her" back to him. Realizing that he could use the situation to his advantage, Savitar waited until the timeline was restored to its previous form and began to enact his plan. But, somehow Barry beat him and imprisoned him in the Speed Force, creating an endless loop preventing the latter from escaping, for which Savitar swore revenge.Īt some point before 2012 Savitar sensed a dramatic shift in the timeline that resulted from a younger Barry Allen creating the Flashpoint timeline. Savitar fought against The Flash, presumably in after 2024, when he was even more faster than original timeline Barry from 2024. He also encountered Jay Garrick/The Flash, a speedster from Earth Three, presumably during his war with Barry. He also became familiar with the other members of Team Flash including Iris West, Joe West, Cisco Ramon/Vibe, Caitlin Snow/Killer Frost, Wally West and Harrison Wells. ![]() At some point after 2016 he learned of Barry Allen/The Flash, a speedster from Earth One and travelled there to kill him. Before each encounter, he would possess a person and use them as a medium under the alias "Alchemy" to 'prepare' for his arrival by having "Alchemy" create meta-human armies for Savitar to command. Over the centuries, Savitar travelled throughout the multiverse with the Philosopher's Stone in hand, seeking out the most powerful Speedsters who threatened his power to battle before taking over their Earths. He dubbed himself the "God of Speed" and founded a cult. The man who would become Savitar at some point discovered and used the Philosopher's Stone that transformed him into a metallic creature, named after the Hindu god of motion. After manipulating Wally West, who was a speedster known as Kid Flash in Flashpoint, Savitar managed to free himself from the Speed Force and resume his war with the Flash. However, due to Barry's creation of Flashpoint, Savitar started to manipulate those who were meta-humans in Flashpoint in order to free himself from the Speed Force by means of Alchemy and the Philosopher's Stone. According to stories and myths learned by Jay Garrick, he is the first meta-human speedster in the multiverse, who is presumed to originate from Earth One.Īt some point in the future, Savitar encountered the Flash's future-self and the two battled each other until Barry managed to defeat and imprison Savitar, sealing him away in the Speed Force itself. Abra Kadabra even stated that out of all of The Flash's foes, Savitar is the only one who has truly emotionally broke the Flash. He also keeps referring to himself as "the Future". He was also called the Dark Lord by an acolyte of his cult, which he led himself through an avatar known as Alchemy, preparing worlds for his arrival. Self-named after the Hindu God of Motion, Savitar proclaims himself as the "God of Speed" and the "Ruler" of the Speed Force. ![]() "Savitar" is an ancient and unimaginably powerful armor-wearing speedster. ![]() And then, you'll treat me like a god.Savitar to The Flash and deserve none of it!
